#No15
This week we say ''Vive la France!'' for always bringing out the quirky and odd vehicles and we present you Kevin's 1970 Citroen AK250 Fourgon (Van) which was used as a service vehicle for Michelin Tires, for the 2CV race in the Sahara Desert '' Raid Afrique 1973 '' to be exact.
It's fully original, including the paint job, apart from a much-needed more ''modern engine'' that's now pushing an amazing 35 bhp. It's been refurbished mechanically and its suspension is as soft as a sponge, which adds to the character of the car. The current owner had this for the past 8 years and uses it most days since he believes this is not a museum piece and really enjoys the drive. Now the interior is quite special since he added quite a few ''French'' touches on the inside, but we can't see any croissants anywhere so that's a negative point...
